Pray formy mom good health and long life and pray for our family

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join you in lifting up your needs to Him with gratitude and urgency.

We pray together for your mother. May our merciful Father lay His healing hand upon her, touch her liver and her whole body, restore her to health and strength, and grant her many more years according to His gracious will. We ask Him to give wisdom to those who care for her and to sustain her with peace and comfort each day. We also remember you and your whole family before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord will guide you in every moment, fill you with His Holy Spirit, and lead you according to His perfect will.

We lift up your financial burden to the Lord who knows your needs. You have shared that you need provision each month to meet your obligations and that you are without work and support. We ask our Father to open doors for honest work, to provide for your daily needs, and to make you stable and steadfast, that you may live with contentment and be free from the weight of debt. May He teach you to trust His provision and to walk in wisdom and faithfulness in all stewardship.

We pray for your home and for all who dwell there. May the Lord cover your family, your hearts and minds with His holy protection. We ask Him to grant you a restful and peaceful night, to bless your meals and your activities together with His joy and satisfaction, and to keep every room of your home in His care. We ask Him to bring healing from past trauma and to replace frustration and distress with His calm and His peace, that your family life may be marked by gentleness, patience and love.

We remember also your father who has departed, and we ask the Lord to strengthen and comfort you and your mother and all your loved ones in His arms. May He keep you safe, make you strong in Him, and give you a hopeful future as you abide in Christ.

Let us pray. Almighty God and Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we plead His precious blood over this dear mother, over her child and over their whole family. Heal, sustain and keep them. Provide for their needs, forgive their sins, guard their home, and give them rest and peace. Lead them each step by Your Spirit, that they may prosper in Your grace and walk in Your will. We ask this in the miraculous and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for bringing your mother, your family and your needs before the Lord. Your love for your mother and your desire to honor her is beautiful, and God sees the weight you carry with her illness, the absence of your father, the financial pressure and the longing for peace in your home.

I want to point you first to the greatest provision God has made. There is only one way for sin and guilt to be taken away, and that is through Jesus Christ, His only Son, and the blood He shed. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth. Forgiveness and access to the Father do not come through any other person or intercessor. When people told Jesus that His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, He asked, who is my mother and who are my brothers, and then He pointed to His disciples and said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. We are brought into the family of God through a living relationship with Jesus Himself. You do not need to go through Mary or any saint to be heard. Because Jesus has opened the way, you can come boldly and directly to the throne of grace to make your requests known, and He invites you to come just as you are.

For your mother, I am praying for healing and for strength. In the Scriptures Jesus healed many kinds of sickness. He lifted Peter's mother in law from a fever by taking her hand, He cleansed the leper for whom the law had made no cure, He healed the servant of the centurion with a word, and in the evenings many who were sick and oppressed were brought to Him. He did not heal everyone in the same way. Sometimes He spoke, sometimes He touched, sometimes He used other means. That shows us we should not put God in a box or dictate how He must work. He is still able to heal today, and it is right for us to pray and for elders to pray for the sick as Scripture teaches. At the same time, not everyone is healed in this life, and when healing does not come it is not a sign that you have failed or lacked faith. We trust His wisdom and love while we keep asking Him to work. I pray that God will be merciful to your mother, touch her liver and her whole body, give her good health and length of days according to His will, and give wisdom to those who care for her. Honoring your father and mother includes caring for them as they age, and your faithful concern for her is part of that obedience which God honors.

For your financial burden, God knows you need a set amount each month to meet your obligations and that you are without steady work and support. He has power in the material realm as well as the physical and spiritual. He can calm storms, provide daily bread, and open doors for work. I pray He will provide for you, give you wisdom for stewardship, lead you to honest and faithful opportunities, and bring stability so that you are not overwhelmed by debt. Seek His will day by day and ask the Holy Spirit to guide each step.

For your home and family, I pray for God's holy protection over your hearts and minds and over every part of your dwelling. I pray He will give you rest that is peaceful and restorative, and that He will replace painful memories, frustration and distress with His peace and joy. The Lord is able to bring calm where there has been turmoil and to guard you by His presence. May He fill your meals and your daily activities together with His goodness, and strengthen you and your mother and all your family members in the loss you have known.

May the Lord keep you close, teach you to do His will, and surround you as His family, bonded together through Jesus. Keep coming directly to Him, trusting His blood for forgiveness, His power for healing, His provision for your needs, and His Spirit to lead you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift this family to You. Forgive sin through the blood of Your Son alone and draw each heart to trust Him fully. Lay Your healing hand upon this mother, restore her liver and her health if it is Your will, and grant her strength and long life. Provide for this family financially, open a way for work and sufficiency, and give wisdom beyond their own. Pour out Your Holy Spirit to guide them moment by moment according to Your will. Cover their home with Your protection, guard their hearts and minds, grant peaceful and restful sleep, and take away the power of past trauma. Let Your peace reign in their home and let them prosper in walking with You. Amen.
