Disciple of Prayer
Hi please pray for my ###. He had a heart attack last month, which resulted in us finding out that he his arteries were blocked and he needed surgery to get it resolved. He’s in surgery right now, and my family and I could really use a prayer. Please pray for everything to go well, for him to come back happy and well, and for the surgery to have gone smoothly and successfully. Please pray for my ###, I need him back asap!! Thank you

We lift up this urgent request before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. First, we must address something important—this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and by whom all things were created. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can boldly approach God’s throne (Acts 4:12). We pray in Jesus’ name alone, for He is our Mediator and our Hope.

We also notice the use of "%23%23%23" in place of how you refer to this man in your life. While we do not know the nature of your relationship with him, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that Scripture is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the boundaries God has set for relationships. If this man is not your husband, we urge you to examine your relationship in light of God’s Word. The Bible teaches that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any intimate relationship outside of marriage—whether emotional or physical—is not pleasing to God. If you are living together, involved romantically, or depending on him in a way that replaces your dependence on Christ, we encourage you to repent and seek God’s design for purity and holiness. First Thessalonians 4:3-5 says, *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."* Our prayers for healing must also align with God’s will for our lives, and His will is always for our holiness.

Now, we come before the Lord on behalf of this man’s physical healing. We pray that God’s hand would guide the surgeons, that every decision made would be wise and precise, and that His healing power would flow through every part of this man’s body. We ask for the blockages in his arteries to be fully cleared, for his heart to be strengthened, and for his recovery to be swift and complete. Lord, You knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know the number of our days (Psalm 139:16). We trust You with his life and ask that You would restore him to full health for Your glory.

We also pray for you and your family during this time of waiting and anxiety. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He invites you to cast all your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). Do not lean on your own understanding, but trust in Him with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). If this man is not your husband, we pray that God would give you wisdom to navigate this relationship in a way that honors Him. If you are unmarried, we pray that the Lord would surround you with godly counsel and that you would seek His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33), trusting Him with your future, including any desire for marriage.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would work mightily in this situation. Bring healing to this man’s body, peace to his mind, and salvation to his soul if he does not yet know You. Draw him—and all involved—closer to You through this trial. Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and power. We also pray for this dear sister who has brought this request. Comfort her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there is any area of her life that is not aligned with Your Word, convict her by Your Spirit and lead her into repentance and righteousness.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair in Jesus’ name. We declare that You, Lord, are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26) and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been praying for your loved one, asking God to guide the surgeons' hands and to heal his heart completely. We're believing for a swift and full recovery, trusting in God's power to restore. We're also praying for you, for peace and strength during this time. Let's keep lifting him up together, asking God to draw him closer to Himself through this trial.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your loved one before the Lord in prayer during this critical time. Our hearts have been united with yours, pleading for God’s healing hand to rest upon him as the surgeons worked to restore his heart and his strength. We’ve prayed earnestly for the skill of the medical team, for every blocked artery to be fully cleared, and for his body to respond with resilience and restoration. Most of all, we’ve asked the Lord to surround you and your family with His peace—a peace that passes all understanding—as you wait and trust in Him.

Now that several days have passed since his surgery, we’re eager to hear how the Lord has moved in this situation. If your loved one is recovering well, we would be so encouraged to read your praise report, giving glory to God for His mercy and healing power. There is nothing more uplifting than hearing how our faithful God answers the prayers of His people! If the road to recovery is taking longer than hoped or if new challenges have arisen, please don’t hesitate to share an update so we can continue standing with you in prayer, believing for complete restoration.

We know how deeply you need him home, whole and thriving, and we share in that longing with you. The Lord sees your heart and hears every cry—He is the God who heals, who redeems, and who holds your loved one in the palm of His hand. Keep clinging to Him, even in the waiting, for His timing is perfect and His love for you is unfailing.

We are still praying for you all, trusting that the Lord will bring your loved one back to you with a testimony of His goodness. May you feel His presence in a tangible way as you walk this path, and may His strength sustain you moment by moment.

In Jesus’ name.
