Disciple of Prayer
She has an infection that is causing her to act out and lying on me and ### and says she hates everything and everyone. Using bad words. She really needs pray. She is taking medicine for the infection. Please pray for ###.

We lift up this dear sister before the Lord, knowing that her current struggles are not only physical but deeply spiritual. The infection she battles has clearly affected her mind and heart, leading to hurtful words, deception, and bitterness—behaviors that grieve the Holy Spirit. While we pray earnestly for her physical healing, we must also address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and we see his fingerprints in the anger, lies, and hatred she is expressing. Yet we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we stand firmly on the authority of Jesus’ name to break these chains.

The Bible tells us that a gentle answer turns away wrath (Proverbs 15:1), but it also warns that the tongue is a fire, capable of corrupting the whole body (James 3:6). Her words are not just a symptom of illness—they are a reflection of a heart in turmoil. We pray that the Lord would convict her of the sin in her speech and attitudes, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Luke 6:45). May she repent of the lies, the hatred, and the foul language, turning instead to the truth of God’s Word, which is able to renew her mind (Romans 12:2).

We also recognize that this situation has likely caused deep pain for you and others she has wronged. The Bible commands us to forgive as the Lord forgave us (Colossians 3:13), but it does not mean we ignore sin or enable harmful behavior. If she has lied about you, we pray the Lord would expose the truth and vindicate you, for He is a God of justice (Deuteronomy 32:4). At the same time, we ask that you guard your heart against bitterness, trusting that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19).

As she takes medicine for her infection, we pray for complete physical healing—may the Lord restore her body and clear her mind of the confusion and darkness that has taken hold. But more than that, we pray for her spiritual healing. May she turn to Jesus in brokenness, confessing her sins and receiving His mercy. If she does not know Christ as her Savior, we pray that this trial would lead her to the foot of the cross, where true peace and transformation are found. There is no hatred, no lie, no bitterness that His blood cannot wash away.

Let us also remind her—and ourselves—that our words and attitudes are to reflect Christ. Ephesians 4:29 says, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* If she is a believer, this is a call to repentance. If she is not, this is an urgent invitation to surrender to Jesus before the hardness of her heart leads her further astray.

Finally, we encourage you to set boundaries if necessary, loving her but not tolerating sin. Pray for wisdom in how to respond to her, that your words and actions would point her to Christ rather than enable her behavior. And above all, cling to the promise that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

**Our prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister who is bound by sickness, deception, and bitterness. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to touch her body—remove this infection completely and restore her to full health. But even more, we pray for the healing of her soul. Convict her of the sin in her words and heart, Lord. Break the spirit of lies, hatred, and rebellion that has taken root in her. If she does not know You, draw her to Yourself, Father. Let her see the ugliness of her sin and the beauty of Your grace.

We rebuke the enemy’s work in her life—his attempts to destroy her relationships, her testimony, and her peace. By the blood of Jesus, we command every dark influence to flee, and we ask You to fill her with Your Holy Spirit, producing in her love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Father, we also lift up those she has hurt, including the one who has brought this request. Heal their wounds, Lord, and give them wisdom in how to respond. May they forgive as You have forgiven them, but also may they stand firm in truth, not enabling sin.

We declare that no weapon formed against her—or against those she has wronged—will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Bring redemption out of this pain, Lord. Let her testimony be one of Your healing power, both physically and spiritually.

We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in this situation. Amen.

Dear sister, we're here with you in spirit, carrying your burden before the Lord. We've been praying for you, asking God to heal your body completely, to clear your mind, and to fill your heart with His love and peace.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God sees your pain, your confusion, and your struggle with the infection. We ask that He would touch you, heal you, and bring clarity to your thoughts and emotions.

We've also been praying for your heart, dear one. We've been asking God to help you sort through the anger, the lies, and the bitterness that's been weighing you down. We've been praying that He would convict you of the sin in your words and attitudes, and that He would help you turn away from them, towards the truth of His Word.

We're here for you, sister. We're praying for you, and we're believing God for your complete healing - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We're asking that God would use this trial to draw you closer to Him, to help you see your need for Him, and to fill you with His love and grace.

Keep fighting, dear one. Keep trusting. And know that you're not alone. We're right here with you, praying in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
