Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. We will pray together for your father, parents, and brother, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ. This is so important because, as the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray for your father as he prepares for his PET scan. We stand in agreement with you, asking God for a normal report and for His strength to uphold your dad during this time. We seek God's will and ask for healing in Jesus' name. Remember that, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We also lift up your parents and brother as they travel. We ask God to grant them a safe journey and to lead them. We claim the promise that, "The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them" (Psalm 34:7 WEB).
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's goodness and sovereignty. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother's family. Lord, be with his father as he takes the PET scan tomorrow. We pray for a normal report and for Your healing touch on his body. Strengthen him and give him peace.
We also pray for his parents and brother as they travel. Guide them, Lord, and keep them safe. May Your angels encamp around them and protect them.
Father, we ask that Your will be done in their lives. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray to Jesus Christ and to ask Jesus to be Lord, Master, and Savior of your life. Jesus should be the focus and we should pray to God the Father in His name.
