Let us come together in prayer for this individual who has submitted their request, keeping their specific needs private.
First, let us remember that we are instructed to come before the throne of God with confidence, as we have a great high priest, Jesus Christ, who has entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. This can only be done by the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. See the verses below.
"Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; and having a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water, let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it wavers not; for he is faithful that promised. [Hebrews 10:19-23 WEB]
"In that day you will ask in my name; and I do not say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me. You have believed that I came forth from the Father, I came into the world, and I leave the world, and go to the Father." [John 16:26-28 WEB].
"The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and to teach, until the day in which he was received up, after that he had given commandment through the Holy Spirit unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom he also showed himself alive after his passion by many proofs, appearing unto them by the space of forty days, and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, he charged them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye heard from me: For John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days hence. They therefore, when they were come together, asked him, saying, Lord, dost thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know times or seasons, which the Father hath set within His own authority. But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. [Acts 1:1-8 WEB]
"In whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him unto a dispensation of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, I say, in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will; to the end that we should be unto the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ: in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation,-- in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, which is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, unto the praise of his glory. [Ephesians 1:7-14 WEB]
As we pray, let us lift up this individual to the Lord, asking that His will be done in their life. May they be guided by the Holy Spirit and grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this individual to You. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that they would know the love, peace, and joy that comes from a relationship with You. Lord, we ask that You would guide them according to Your will. Give them wisdom and discernment, and help them to make decisions that honor You.
We pray that they would be encouraged and strengthened by the support we offer. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and protection, and that they would know that they are not alone in their struggles.
We also pray that they would see the power of prayer in their life, and that they would be drawn closer to You through this experience. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
