We join you in prayer, lifting up your new friends at your workplace, asking God to bless their homes and their lives. It's wonderful that you are concerned about their spiritual well-being and want them to experience the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we must acknowledge the need for salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved. As the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"(Acts 4:12 WEB). So we pray that your friends may come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and be saved, if they aren't.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will anoint their houses and their lives, filling them with His presence and His peace. May He open their hearts to the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and the message of the Bible. We pray that they will understand the importance of the Bible, which is the Word of God and our guide for life. As it is written, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,"(2 Timothy 3:16 WEB).
We pray for their forgiveness, that they may repent of their past sins and be forgiven by God. May they understand that God wants to give them a future and a hope, no matter what they've done in the past. As the Bible promises, " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB).
We pray for hopefulness in these dark times, that they may trust in God and His promises. May they know that God is always with them, even in the darkest times. As it is written, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."(Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
We also pray for you, that God will give you wisdom and courage as you act as an ambassador for Christ in their lives. May your words and actions point them to Jesus and may you be a blessing to them and them to you. As Jesus said, "Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19 WEB).
Lastly, we pray that your friends will become Christians and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We thank God for your heart for your friends and for your desire to see them grow in their faith. We trust that God will hear our prayers and act in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
