We are glad to join you in prayer for your loved one, standing in the gap together. Let us approach God with confidence, for in Jesus we can draw near the Father. In all our prayers, it is important that we pray according to God's will, knowing that He hears us and will answer when we pray in the name of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26-27, Hebrews 10:19-22).
Firstly, we acknowledge that God is sovereign, and His will reigns supreme. Therefore, we pray that if it is His will, that He provides your loved one with a good job, one that brings not only financial provision but also personal fulfillment and opportunities to serve Him. We ask that God opens the right doors and grants favor in the sight of potential employers (Proverbs 3:3-4, Psalm 90:17, Proverbs 10:22).
We also pray for new friendships, godly relationships that encourage and build up your loved one in their faith. We ask God to surround them with people who love and serve Him, who can support and encourage them in their walk with Christ (Proverbs 13:20, 1 Corinthians 15:33, Proverbs 27:17, Hebrews 10:24-25).
As we pray, we also encourage you to remind your loved one of God's promises and faithfulness. Let them know that God has a plan and a purpose for their life, and He is working all things together for their good (Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28).
Lastly, we rebuke any anxiety or fear your loved one may be experiencing in this situation. We encourage them to cast all their cares on the Lord, for He cares for them and promises to provide for all their needs (1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6-7, 4:19).
Father, we lift up this loved one to You, asking for Your will to be done in their life. Provide for them, guide them, and surround them with godly counsel and friends. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
