We come before the Lord with humble hearts, lifting up this request for wisdom, peace, and protection. Father God, we thank You for the life of this dear ### and his family, and we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Lord, we ask that You grant this ### the wisdom he needs as he steps into this new responsibility of leading the family business. May Your Holy Spirit guide his decisions, his words, and his actions so that they align with Your perfect will.
We also pray for his father’s protection, health, and blessings as he transitions into retirement. Lord, we declare Psalm 91:11 over him: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* May You surround him with Your divine protection, grant him strength and vitality, and fill his days with joy and peace. We ask that You bless the work of his hands and the legacy he leaves behind.
Father, we lift up the family dynamics as well. It is not easy to step into a position where others may feel overlooked or resistant. We pray for unity and peace among all family members, especially between this ### and his elder brothers and their sons. Your Word commands us in Ephesians 4:3, *"Being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."* Lord, soften hearts, remove any jealousy or strife, and let Your love bind this family together. May they support one another in love, respect, and humility, recognizing that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17).
We also want to gently remind this ### that true wisdom and peace come only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If he has not already surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that he would do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the foundation for all the wisdom, peace, and blessings he seeks. We encourage him to confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, and he will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also rebuke any spirit of division, jealousy, or strife that may try to creep into this family. We declare that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17), and we pray that Your Spirit would reign in this home. May this ### walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with him, and may his family see Your light shining through him.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
