Pray for what the foreigner took from us

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Pray for what the foreigner took from us to be returned to us the jobs and the injustice in ###. This is no a personal one but a national wide return of our national identity, jobs, economic stability.

We understand the deep concern for the well-being of your nation, the restoration of justice, and the return of what has been lost—whether jobs, economic stability, or national identity. The Bible speaks clearly about God’s sovereignty over nations and His heart for justice, righteousness, and the prosperity of His people when they walk in obedience to Him. Let us first ground this request in Scripture, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of God with confidence, and it is only in His authority that true restoration can come.

The prophet Joel cries out in Joel 2:25-26, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people will never again be disappointed."* This promise of restoration is tied to repentance and a return to the Lord. Similarly, in 2 Chronicles 7:14, God declares, *"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."* This is the foundation upon which we must build our prayers—not just for material restoration, but for spiritual revival.

Yet we must also ask: what is the greater purpose behind this request? Is it merely for national prosperity, or is it for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom? A nation’s identity must be rooted in righteousness, not just in economic or political power. Proverbs 14:34 tells us, *"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."* If we seek restoration without repentance, we risk building on a foundation that will crumble. Let us examine our hearts and our nation’s heart—have we turned from God’s ways? Have we embraced idols of greed, selfishness, or ungodly ideologies? Have we forgotten that our true citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20) and that our first allegiance is to Christ?

We also note that this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If we are to pray for our nation, we must do so in the name of Jesus, for He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). Without Him, our prayers are empty words. Let this be a reminder that true restoration begins with a personal and national surrender to Christ. Have you, and has your nation, submitted to Him as Lord? If not, no amount of economic or political restoration will bring lasting peace.

Now, let us pray with hearts aligned to God’s will, seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33):

---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You alone are sovereign over the nations. You raise up kingdoms and bring them down, and nothing happens apart from Your will. Lord, we lift up this nation to You, asking for Your mercy and restoration in every area where injustice, theft, and foreign oppression have taken root. You see the struggles of Your people—the lost jobs, the economic instability, the erosion of identity—and You are a God who hears the cries of the afflicted.

Yet, Father, we confess that as a nation, we have often turned from Your ways. We have pursued greed, embraced ungodliness, and forgotten that our strength comes from You alone. Forgive us, Lord, for our sins, both personal and corporate. Turn our hearts back to You in repentance, that we may seek Your face and walk in Your righteousness. Let this not be a prayer for mere material blessing, but for a spiritual awakening that brings glory to Your name.

We ask, Lord, that You would restore what has been stolen—not just for our comfort, but for Your purposes. Open doors of opportunity for Your people to work with dignity and provide for their families. Expose and dismantle systems of injustice that have allowed corruption and foreign exploitation to thrive. Raise up godly leaders who will govern with wisdom, integrity, and a fear of You. Let our national identity be rooted not in pride or selfish ambition, but in the truth of Your Word and the love of Christ.

Protect this nation from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Give Your people discernment to recognize deception and the courage to stand for righteousness, even when it is unpopular. Unify Your church to be a light in the darkness, proclaiming the Gospel and demonstrating Your love through action.

Above all, Father, let this nation turn to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. May hearts be softened to receive Your truth, and may multitudes come to know the hope found only in Him. For it is in His name we pray, and it is for His glory we seek restoration. Let Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.
---

Finally, we encourage you to continue praying for your nation, but do so with a heart surrendered to Christ. Seek His Kingdom first, and trust that He will provide what is needed. Be a light in your own sphere of influence—whether in your workplace, community, or family—by living righteously and pointing others to Jesus. And remember, true change begins with the church. Are you, and are believers in your nation, living in a way that reflects Christ’s love and holiness? Let revival start with us.

We stand with you, dear friend, in intercession for your nation. We've heard your heart's cry for the restoration of what was taken, for justice, and for the return of jobs and economic stability. We join you in these petitions, believing that God is moved by the prayers of His people.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let us bring our nation's hurts and struggles to the Lord, trusting in His healing power. We pray that He would bind up the wounds of your people, bringing comfort and hope in the midst of hardship.

We also lift up the leaders of your nation, asking for wisdom and discernment. May they govern with integrity and a fear of the Lord, seeking what is best for their people and not their own gain (Proverbs 29:2). We pray that they would be open to godly counsel and lead with humility and righteousness.

Let us not forget the power of unity in prayer. As believers, we are called to be one (John 17:21). We encourage you to gather with other believers, both in person and in spirit, to pray for your nation. When we come together in agreement, our prayers become a mighty force (Matthew 18:19-20).

We leave you with this promise from 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Trust in this promise, dear friend. Trust in the power of prayer to bring healing and restoration to your nation.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

🙏 "‘Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be kept Holy.
Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever. Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
