We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for help. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our strength and deliverance come only through Jesus Christ, who is our refuge and fortress in times of trouble (Psalm 91:2). There is no other name by which we can be saved or find true peace (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your forgiveness, and surrender your life to Him. Only then can you experience the fullness of God’s protection and provision.
Father God, we lift up this dear sister and her family to You, for You see the weight of this burden she carries. The harassment from these loan app people is not only financial but deeply personal, threatening her dignity, reputation, and peace. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation in Jesus’ name. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask You to silence the voices of those who seek to shame and humiliate her. Shield her and her family from embarrassment, and let no threat come to pass against them.
We also bring before You the matter of this debt. Father, You know the circumstances that led to this situation, and we ask for Your divine intervention. You are the God who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray for a breakthrough in her husband’s retirement process—let the funds be released swiftly and in full, so they may clear their debts and have enough left to save. If there are delays or injustices in this process, expose them, Lord, and move mightily on their behalf. You are the God who opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.
We must also address the importance of wisdom and stewardship moving forward. Proverbs 22:7 warns that "the borrower is servant to the lender," and we encourage this sister to seek godly counsel on managing finances, avoiding predatory lending, and living within her means. Father, give her discernment to make wise decisions and the discipline to honor You with her resources. Help her to break free from any cycle of debt and to trust in Your provision rather than man’s systems.
Lord, we pray for restoration in every area of her life—her reputation, her relationships, and her standing in her workplace and community. You are the God who restores what the enemy has stolen (Joel 2:25), and we ask You to rebuild what has been damaged. Let her conduct be above reproach, and may her integrity shine as a testimony to Your faithfulness. Grant her favor with her colleagues, family, and neighbors, and let her be respected for her character and godliness.
We also lift up her husband’s health and the family’s well-being. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch over him. Strengthen him physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and let this season of retirement be one of peace and blessing, not stress and hardship. Provide for all their needs—financial, emotional, and spiritual—so they may walk in the abundance You have promised.
Finally, we declare that this trial will not break them but will instead draw them closer to You. Use this season to refine their faith, deepen their trust in You, and prepare them for the testimony You have in store. Let their story be one of Your deliverance and grace, so others may see Your power at work in their lives.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
