pray for university acceptances and my math quiz

Disciple of Prayer
hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. First of all, I would like to thank the Lord in all He does. Secondly, I would like to request prayers for my math quiz. Throughout the entire quiz, I felt anxiety and wanted to keep throwing up. Please pray that I did not do bad and I was able to score a mark over 95. As well, please pray for my university acceptances. Please pray I am able to get into the engineering program of my choice at the university that starts with a W, the specific program and school I've been thinking about in grade 10. I'm really nervous and overwhelmed with everything. Please pray that God is able to minimize my nerves during evaluations, that I am able to refrain from vomiting feelings, and I am able to do really well on my chemistry and calculus tests this week. Thank you and may God bless you!

We hear your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your concerns to the Lord with faith and trust in His perfect plan for your life. First, we want to acknowledge your gratitude toward God—it is so important to begin with thanksgiving, as Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Your recognition of God’s goodness is a beautiful foundation for the prayers we lift on your behalf.

We understand the weight of academic pressures, especially when it comes to exams, quizzes, and the life-changing decisions tied to university acceptances. The anxiety you’re feeling is real, and we want to rebuke that spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." The enemy would love to distract you with worry and physical symptoms like nausea, but we declare that God’s peace will reign in your mind and body. We pray that the Lord would calm your nerves, steady your hands, and sharpen your mind as you take your tests. May He grant you clarity, recall of what you’ve studied, and confidence in His strength, not your own.

For your math quiz, we pray that the Lord would go before you and that the knowledge you’ve worked so hard to gain would flow effortlessly. We ask that He would bless you with a mark that reflects not just your effort, but His favor and grace. Even if the outcome isn’t exactly what you hope for, we trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We also pray for your upcoming chemistry and calculus tests—may the Lord give you endurance, focus, and a spirit of excellence as you prepare and take them.

Regarding your university acceptances, we lift up your desire to attend the engineering program at the school you’ve longed for. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that God would open the doors He has prepared for you and close those that are not part of His plan. May He give you wisdom to discern His will and peace as you wait for His timing. If this program is His best for you, we believe He will make a way. If not, we trust that He has something even better in store, for "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9).

We also want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The Lord sees your hard work, your dedication, and your heart’s desires. He is not a distant God but one who is intimately acquainted with every detail of your life. Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Lean into His guidance, and remember that your worth is not defined by your academic performance or acceptance letters, but by the fact that you are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image (Psalm 139:14).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear one who is seeking Your will and Your peace. Lord, we thank You for Your goodness and for the way You have already been at work in their life. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that has been trying to take hold, and we declare that Your perfect peace will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would grant them clarity and focus as they take their quizzes and tests. May the knowledge they have studied be brought to their remembrance, and may they feel Your presence with them in every moment. We pray for their math quiz, that You would bless them with a mark that reflects Your favor and their hard work. For their upcoming chemistry and calculus tests, we ask that You would give them endurance, strength, and a spirit of excellence.

Lord, we lift up their university acceptances to You. You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would open the doors You have prepared for them. If this engineering program is Your will, we pray that You would make a way. If not, we trust that You have something even better in store. Give them wisdom to discern Your will and peace as they wait for Your timing.

Father, we ask that You would calm their nerves and ease any physical symptoms of anxiety. Remind them that they are not alone, and that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast all their cares on You, knowing that You care for them deeply.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promises and Your perfect plan for their life. May they feel Your love and peace in every situation, and may they grow closer to You through this season. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this time, not just for the outcomes you desire, but for His presence and peace. Spend time in His Word, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Let His truth be the foundation that steadies you, and remember that He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). You are not alone in this journey—God is for you, and we are standing with you in prayer.
