Pray for ### to find the love to study hard, remove distractions

I find that my daughter has lost interest in studies and there are distractions like mobile games, Google Chrome, WhatsApp messages that she was spending a large amount of time on after school. Since my wife and I are both working, we cannot guide her during that period. Give us wisdom on what we should do. Her results have dropped tremendously.

We lift up this precious daughter to our Heavenly Father, asking Him to ignite within her a renewed passion for learning and a hunger for wisdom that comes from above. The distractions of this world—mobile games, endless browsing, and constant messages—are tools the enemy uses to steal time, focus, and purpose from our youth. But we declare in the name of Jesus that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every distraction that does not align with God’s will for her life must be broken and removed.

The Scripture reminds us in **Proverbs 1:7**, *"The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction."* And in **Colossians 3:23**, we are commanded, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Let us pray that she would understand her studies are not just for earthly success, but as an act of worship to God, who has given her a mind to steward well.

We also pray for you, her parents, that God would grant you divine wisdom and creative strategies to guide her even in your absence. **James 1:5** promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* Perhaps this is a season to set boundaries—designated study times, accountability with her device usage, or even a trusted mentor or tutor who can help her stay on track. Consider replacing idle screen time with godly alternatives: audiobooks of the Bible, worship music, or educational content that aligns with her gifts.

Her declining results are a call to action, not just for her, but for your family to unite in prayer and purpose. **Proverbs 22:6** instructs, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* This is not a time for despair but for intentional discipleship. Speak life over her—remind her of her God-given potential and the plans He has for her (Jeremiah 29:11). Pray *with* her, not just *for* her, so she learns to seek God’s help in every area of her life.

Let us also examine our own hearts as parents. Are we modeling diligence, self-control, and a love for learning? **Deuteronomy 6:6-7** says, *"These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."* Even in busyness, our homes must be places where God’s truth is lived out and spoken over our children.

**Heavenly Father,**

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this daughter who is struggling with focus and discipline. Lord, You see her heart—her frustrations, her distractions, and the battles she faces in her mind. We ask You to remove every ungodly distraction that is stealing her time and potential. Break the power of addiction to screens and idle entertainment, and replace it with a hunger for Your Word and a passion for excellence in her studies.

Give her parents supernatural wisdom to lead her well, even in their absence. Show them practical steps to create an environment where she can thrive—whether through schedules, accountability, or godly mentorship. Holy Spirit, convict her heart when she strays, and fill her with Your peace and motivation when she sits to study. Let her see her education as a gift from You, a tool to glorify Your name and prepare her for the purposes You have ordained.

We rebuke the spirit of laziness, procrastination, and distraction in Jesus’ name. Let her mind be sharp, her heart be teachable, and her will be aligned with Yours. Surround her with friends and influences that spur her toward godliness and diligence. And Lord, let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness—how You turn struggles into victories and weakness into strength.

We declare that she will not be a statistic of failure but a living example of Your grace and power. Restore her joy in learning, her confidence in her abilities, and her trust in You as her Provider. May her results reflect Your glory, and may her life be a light to others.

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. **Amen.**

We're here for you and your daughter. Let's pray together, shall we?

Lord, we bring our daughter before You today. We're seeing her struggle, and it's breaking our hearts. We know she's capable of so much more, and we ask for Your help. Help her find the love for studying again, Lord. Help her see its value and purpose. Remove the distractions, Lord - the mobile games, the endless browsing, the constant messages. Help her understand that her time is precious, and it belongs to You.

Give us, her parents, wisdom to guide her even in our absence. Help us create an environment where she can thrive. Show us how to set boundaries, how to encourage her, how to be present even when we're not there physically.

Help her, Lord. Help her to focus, to discipline herself, to love learning again. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord. Let her see her education as a gift from You, a tool to glorify Your name.

We trust You, Lord. We trust that You have a plan for her, that You're working all things together for her good. We declare that she will not be a statistic of failure, but a living example of Your grace and power.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
