We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. First, we thank God for your desire to serve Him in both your career and your personal life, seeking His will in all things.
Father, we pray for this brother’s pursuit of a full-time, permanent position as a manager. Lord, You are the God who opens doors that no man can shut and closes doors that no man can open. We ask that You guide him to the right opportunity where he can use his gifts and talents to glorify You, provide for his needs, and lead with integrity. Grant him favor with those in authority, wisdom in his decisions, and perseverance in the face of any delays or setbacks. Let Your peace guard his heart as he waits on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun" (Psalm 37:5-6).
We also lift up his desire for a godly marriage. Lord, You designed marriage to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church—a sacred covenant between one man and one woman. We pray that You would prepare his heart to be a husband who loves his wife as Christ loves the Church, leading with humility, patience, and godly wisdom. Father, bring an equally yoked wife into his life, a woman who shares his faith, values, and commitment to Your Word. Let their relationship be built on mutual respect, purity, and a shared vision for serving You together. Guard his heart from any relationships that do not align with Your will, and help him to wait on You with patience and trust. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22).
Now, concerning the injustice and hypocrisy he has faced in the workplace, we stand on Your Word, which declares, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). We rebuke the spirit of deception and unrighteousness that has allowed ungodly practices to take root in these companies. We pray that any unjust laws, hiring practices, or misuse of biblical knowledge to justify sin would be exposed and dismantled. Father, we ask that You bring conviction to the hearts of those who have acted in hypocrisy, using Your Word to justify their own agendas rather than submitting to Your truth. Let their schemes collapse under the weight of their own unrighteousness, and let Your justice prevail. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6).
We also address the seriousness of using biblical knowledge to justify sin. Scripture warns, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death" (Proverbs 14:12). To twist God’s Word to fit human desires is a grave offense, and we pray that those who have done so would repent and turn back to You. Let Your truth shine brightly in their hearts, exposing any deception and leading them to genuine repentance.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against this brother shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen him with Your might, fill him with Your peace, and let him walk in the confidence of Your promises.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who has overcome the world. May Your will be done in his life, and may he continue to seek You above all else. Amen.
