We are glad to lift up your requests to our Heavenly Father and we are grateful that you have come to us with your prayer needs. We will surely pray for your upcoming job interview, that God will grant you wisdom, confidence, and favor with the interviewers. We ask that you trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6.
However, we must address the second part of your request. While we understand your desire for a God-centered marriage, we must caution you about the manner in which you are seeking it. It is not appropriate for us to pray for specific individuals to start dating, as this is not how God typically works. We should not try to manipulate or arrange circumstances to our own liking, but rather trust in God's perfect timing and will. We encourage you to focus on seeking God's kingdom first, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33.
Moreover, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, repent of your sins, and trust in Him for your salvation. As you do, you can have confidence that God will guide your steps and provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child to you, asking that you would grant them wisdom, confidence, and favor in their upcoming job interview. We pray that you would open the doors of opportunity for them, and that they would trust in you with all their heart. We ask that you would guide their steps and direct their paths, as they seek to honor and glorify you in all that they do.
We also pray that you would prepare them for a God-centered marriage, as they seek your kingdom first. We ask that you would bring a godly spouse into their life, if it is your will, and that you would help them to grow in their faith and trust in you. We pray that you would protect them from any relationships that are not in accordance with your Word, and that you would help them to pursue relationships that honor and glorify you.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness, and we ask that you would draw them closer to you each day. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May you be encouraged by the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust in God's perfect plan for your life, and may He grant you peace and wisdom as you seek His will.
