We stand with you in prayer, urgently bringing this matter before the throne of grace. We pray for the protection of innocent African American Christian people who are being targeted by racist evildoers seeking to violate their constitutional rights for personal gratification. This is a grave injustice, and we stand against it in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brothers and sisters who are facing hatred and discrimination. We pray for Your divine protection over them, that You would shield them from those who seek to harm them and violate their rights. We ask that You would expose the evil deeds of the wicked and bring them to justice, in accordance with Romans 12:19: "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We pray that You would turn the hearts of the evildoers from their wicked ways, that they may repent and come to know You, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. As it is written in Acts 17:30: "The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent."
We ask that You would comfort and strengthen those who are being targeted, that they would know Your love and peace in the midst of these trials. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit, as stated in Psalm 34:18.
We pray for unity among believers, that we would stand together against injustice and hatred, loving one another as You have loved us in John 13:34-35: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, knowing that You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage everyone to stand against racism and hatred, to be a voice for the voiceless, and to love one another as Christ has loved us. Let's live this out daily. We are reminded in 1 John 4:20: "If a man says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn't love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?" May the love of Christ compel us to stand against injustice and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
