Pray for this friend on Facebook. I saw his post. I'll omit their name, for privacy reasons. The Almighty will still know who they are. Alright, here we go, this is the Facebook post. I apologize for some language you may see...

"December 26 will mark the beginning of mine and wife's fourth year of separation. I still remember the day. The guy from Social Security told us we made too much money. I told him we were below poverty and that didn't matter. He told me my retirement was unearned income and just laughed when I told him I had worked 47 years for it. Told (wife) he was taking all but 10 dollars of her ssi. Told me I could get a job but if I made more than 40 dollars in a month they would take the rest of her ssi and that would cause her to lose her insurance. That can never happen. We separated. Everything they did was legal. We will never live together again.
A great deal of the people I know hate the government. I went to Washington DC to tell my representative about what had happened to me and (wife). He said, "(Name) we don't do that in the United States." Damn useless fool.
I hate the stupidity of people who think their rules matter more than anything else. I hate the stupidity of people who deny any responsibility for the harm done. I
hate Donald Trump but for many people I know he was their middle finger to the government. I hate it that in the end the same people will get screwed again.
I want a better year. This year has been a disaster in almost every way possible. The issues ahead are real. I sure hope some answers are waiting to be found. I dread the 26th but the real issue is in the days that follow. Wish us well.
The support of many of you has been so important to us. We are forever grateful.
I hope the holidays bring you many good things.
Take good care.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
