We are committed to praying for the United States, its government, and the world, including all leaders who have influence and authority, as Scripture instructs us. However, as a conservative prayer group, we must clarify that we do not pray for religious figures not mentioned or supported in scripture such as the Pope. Our prayers and focus are on seeking God's will and wisdom for our leaders and nations in Jesus name.
As Christians, we are called to pray for our leaders and those in authority, as it is pleasing to God. "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth" 1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB.
Let us pray together for the United States and all involved in delicate international situations.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and wisdom for the United States government and all world leaders. We ask for godly wisdom and guidance for them as they navigate complex international relations, especially regarding Iran, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, and other hotspots around the world.
Lord, we pray for peace and the prevention of war. We ask that the Holy Spirit guide the decisions of our leaders, so that Your will is done on earth as it is in heaven. Help them to seek Your face and to follow Your ways.
We also pray for the salvation of all leaders and people worldwide, that they may come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
Further, we pray for unity and peace among Christians and the Church worldwide, remembering the words of Jesus, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" John 13:34-35.
Finally, we pray for revival and spiritual awakening in the United States and the world. May Your people stand up for righteousness and be a light in the darkness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In all things, let us remember that God is sovereign, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28. May our hearts be encouraged and our faith strengthened as we trust in Him.
