We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father. First and foremost, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. We pray that all involved would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior if they do not already, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
We lift up Mr. ###, asking for Your divine protection over him, both physically and spiritually. Lord, we pray that You would surround him with Your hedge of protection, as You promise in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Shield him from the harassment and lies directed his way, and grant him peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also bring before You the situation involving his ex-wife. We ask that You would intervene in her life in a mighty way. We pray that she would be humbled before You, as Scripture tells us in James 4:10, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you." Lord, we ask that You would soften her heart and open her eyes to the truth. If there is any demonic influence in her life, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We command any spirits of deception, strife, or harassment to flee in Jesus' name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also address the issue of harassment and unjust criticism. Scripture is clear that we are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and that our words should build others up, not tear them down (Ephesians 4:29). We pray that You would convict her heart if she is acting out of bitterness or unforgiveness, for we are called to forgive as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). If her actions are driven by malice or deceit, we ask that You would bring her to repentance, for "the Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22).
Lord, we ask that You would bring justice and peace to this situation. We trust in Your promise that "the Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We pray that by February 2026, there would be a miraculous turnaround in this situation, as only You can bring. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all of this.
We also encourage Mr. ### to continue walking in faith and integrity. Do not repay evil with evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and trust in His timing and justice. Remember that "the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).
Lastly, we pray for reconciliation if it is Your will, but only in a way that honors You. If not, we ask that You would grant both parties the strength to move forward in peace and healing. May Your love and grace abound in this situation, and may Your name be praised.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
