We should focus on the heart of the prayer request and also recognize that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
Let's turn to the Scriptures for guidance. In Proverbs 22:22 WEB it says, "Don't exploit the poor because they are poor, and don't crush the needy in court". The Bible encourages the rich to provide for the poor and not exploit them.
In this situation, pray that the Lord softens the hearts of the landlords. Pray that no one takes advantage of others wrongfully. If rent must increase, pray that it will only increase when it is justified.
Jesus himself said, "For you always have the poor with you, but you don't always have me" in Matthew 26:11 WEB. In this context, Jesus was acknowledging the reality of poverty and encouraging generosity and care for the poor.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this situation. We pray for the landlords and the tenants in these properties. Lord, you know the circumstances and the needs of each person involved. We pray that you will soften the hearts of the landlords and guide them to make decisions that are fair and just. We pray that any rent increases will be justified and not exploitative. We also pray for the tenants, that you will provide for their needs and give them wisdom in managing their finances. Ultimately, we pray that both landlords and tenants will seek to honor you in their actions and will be guided by your wisdom. We rebuke any sinful behavior. We ask this in Jesus' name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
