Pray for the health of my wife Ann

My wife Ann continues to battle the return of her breast cancer after 11 years.  Ann has  just received 3 of her monthly hormone shots to keep her "hormonal receptive" cancer in check. She just had another PET scan to check her progress and we will have the results sometime next week.  We still have a long road ahead, but we are comforted to know that we travel that road with the continued support of prayers from our brothers in Christ. While Ann's physical health has continued to improve, our spiritual health has also been blessed and continues to be stronger. After 35 years of marriage it is hard to believe that I could become closer  to Ann, but as we seek the peace of God through scripture we are drawn even closer together. Thank you again for your continued prayers,Her loving husband Steve.

Have you ever thought about the teaching of taking no thought for your life? It's amazing to take no thought for your life and wait on the Lord to put something on your heart to do. I have had physical and emotional pains vanish singing in myself humming take no thought for my life, I give it all to you Lord. Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
