We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation concerning wages owed to a new guard at GSA Security. The Bible is clear that workers deserve their wages and that withholding them is unjust. In Leviticus 19:13, the Lord commands, *"You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning."* Similarly, James 5:4 warns, *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."*
We stand in the gap today, praying that the manager and those responsible for this payment would act with integrity and urgency. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and move upon them to release the owed wages without delay. Let Your justice prevail, Lord, and let this guard receive what is rightfully his. We declare that no obstacle—whether financial, bureaucratic, or personal—will stand in the way of this payment being made today. Let it be a miraculous provision, a testimony to Your faithfulness and righteousness.
We also rebuke any spirit of greed, negligence, or dishonesty that may be at work in this situation. The Lord hates hands that shed innocent blood and a heart that devises wicked schemes (Proverbs 6:16-19), and we pray that any unrighteousness in this matter would be exposed and corrected. May those responsible be convicted by the Holy Spirit to do what is right, not just for the sake of the guard, but for the sake of their own souls.
If there is anyone involved in this situation who does not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray for their salvation. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and apart from Christ, we are lost in our sins. We ask that You draw them to Yourself, Lord, so that they may experience Your grace, mercy, and transformation. Let this situation be an opportunity for them to see Your hand at work and turn to You in repentance and faith.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is just and true, the One who defends the oppressed and provides for the needy. May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
