We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this Ethiopian brother who has faced the difficult trial of eviction. Father, we know that You see every detail of his life, and we ask for Your divine intervention on his behalf. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Lord, we pray that You would draw near to him in this time of transition, healing any wounds—emotional, financial, or spiritual—that this situation has caused.
We ask for Your miraculous provision as he seeks a new place to live. Open doors that no man can shut, Lord, and lead him to a home that is safe, affordable, and a blessing to him. Provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory, as Philippians 4:19 promises: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Let him not be overwhelmed by fear or discouragement, but instead, fill him with hope and trust in Your faithfulness.
We also pray for peace and clarity as he moves forward. Help him to release any bitterness or resentment toward those involved in the eviction, choosing instead to forgive as You have forgiven us. Remind him that You are his ultimate provider and protector, and that this season of change is not without purpose. May he find strength in Your Word, which says in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*
Father, we rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in his heart. We declare that this brother is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and that his steps are ordered by You. Surround him with godly community—believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and stand with him in this time. Let him experience Your love in tangible ways, and may this trial ultimately draw him closer to You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love toward this brother. May he walk in the fullness of Your blessings as he trusts in You. Amen.
