We join together in lifting this matter before the Lord, recognizing that justice and fairness are close to His heart. The Scriptures remind us in **Deuteronomy 24:14-15 (WEB)**, *"You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates. You shall give him his wages in his day, before the sun goes down; for he is poor and sets his heart on it, lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you."* This is a serious matter, as withholding wages unjustly is an affront to God, who defends the rights of the vulnerable.
We also recall **Leviticus 19:13 (WEB)**, which commands, *"You shall not oppress your neighbor nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning."* The company in question has a moral and biblical obligation to fulfill what is rightfully owed. Yet we know that the hearts of men are hardened without the Lord’s intervention, so we cry out for His divine influence over this situation.
At the same time, we must address something vital in your request: the name of Jesus was included at the end, which is good, but we want to emphasize that our prayers are only heard and answered because of Him. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **John 16:23-24 (WEB)**, Jesus tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Our access to God is solely through Christ, and it is in His name—and His alone—that we boldly approach the throne of grace.
So let us pray with confidence in the name of Jesus, trusting that He is able to move mountains and soften even the hardest of hearts.
---
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, interceding for this company that has withheld what is rightfully owed to its former employees. Lord, You are a God of justice, and Your Word commands fairness and timely compensation for labor. We ask that You would move upon the hearts of those in authority within this company, convicting them of their obligation before You. Let no stone of pride, greed, or hardness of heart remain unturned. Soften their hearts, Lord, and lead them to do what is right and just in Your sight.
We pray for a miraculous breakthrough in this situation, that the agreement offered would not only be accepted but fulfilled swiftly and completely. Let no legal loophole, delay, or excuse hinder what You have ordained as fair. Provide for these former employees, Lord, many of whom may be struggling to meet their needs. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust You to meet them in their time of need.
Father, we also pray against any spiritual strongholds of injustice or oppression that may be at work in this company. Bind the influence of the enemy and let Your righteousness prevail. Raise up advocates and godly influence within the company to champion what is right. Let this situation bring glory to Your name as justice is served, and let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness to those who trust in You.
We declare that no weapon formed against these employees shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let the company act with integrity, and if they refuse, we pray that You would expose their wrongdoing and hold them accountable in a way that brings repentance and restoration.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation to draw all involved—both the employees and the leadership of the company—closer to You. May they see Your hand at work and turn to You in faith, recognizing that true justice and peace are found only in Christ.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are faithful. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.---
We encourage you to continue standing firm in prayer, knowing that the Lord hears the cries of the oppressed. Keep bringing this matter before Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If you are one of the former employees affected by this, we also urge you to seek the Lord’s peace and provision in your personal life. **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)** reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
If this injustice has caused bitterness or anger in your heart, we gently encourage you to release it to the Lord. **Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB)** tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Trust that the Lord will vindicate you in His time. Stay rooted in faith, and may the Lord grant you patience and strength as you wait on Him.
