We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ###, a ###-year-old father in ###, NY, who is battling prostate cancer, a low heart rate, and blood disorders. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores what is broken. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Lord, we ask for a miraculous touch upon ###’s body. Strengthen his heart, restore his blood, and eradicate every trace of cancer from his body. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, for Your Word says in Luke 10:19, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* We declare that ### is not defined by his diagnosis but by the healing power of Christ. We speak life over his body, for Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."*
We also lift up ###’s spirit, asking that You fill him with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him in this battle. Remind him of Your faithfulness, as Lamentations 3:22-23 says, *"It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."*
Father, we pray for ###’s family as well. Give them strength, comfort, and unwavering faith as they walk this difficult journey. May they lean on You and one another, finding hope in Your promises. We ask that You provide wisdom for his doctors and caregivers, guiding their hands and decisions as they care for him.
We come against any fear, doubt, or despair that may try to take root in ###’s heart or the hearts of his loved ones. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that ### and his family will walk in the power of Your Spirit, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty.
Lord, if it is Your will, we ask for complete and total healing for ###. We know that You are able to raise him up, as You did for Lazarus, Jairus’ daughter, and the widow’s son at Nain. But above all, we pray that Your will be done, for Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether in healing or in homegoing, may ###’s life bring glory to Your name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your mercy and love, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
