We understand that you're feeling disheartened and worn out, having waited for so long for a husband, a child, a home, and a better job. It's completely normal to feel tired and discouraged when prayers have not yet been answered, but we want to encourage you to keep holding on and to remind you that God's timing is not always the same as ours.
Firstly, let's remember that we are to come to God in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let's ensure we are coming to God by the name of Jesus Christ His Son and believing in Him. We must believe in Jesus and His finished work on the cross. We can be assured that this is true from John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In Psalm 37:4 WEB, we can expect the Lord to give us the desires of our hearts if we delight ourselves in Him. If we put our trust in Him, He will act. Psalm 37:5 WEB: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" Let's pray together with you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is feeling tired and discouraged. She has been faithfully serving You and praying for a husband, a child, a home, and a better job. Lord, we ask that You renew her strength and help her to keep trusting in You. We pray that You will hear her prayers and grant her the desires of her heart, in Your perfect timing and according to Your perfect will.
In the meantime, Lord, help her to find her joy and contentment in You alone. Help her to remember that You are always working things out for her good, even when she can't see it. Give her the power to keep serving You and to keep holding on, even when she feels like giving up.
We also pray that you would explicitly reveal yourself to her and the truth of Your Son Jesus Christ. We ask that you would show her the path to eternal salvation and that she would understand that You have sent Your son to die on the cross for her sins. We pray that she believes in Him.
Finally, Lord, we rebuke any spirits of discouragement, doubt, or despair that may be attacking her. In the name of Jesus, we command them to flee and ask You to fill her with Your peace, Your hope, and Your joy.
We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Your Son Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Remember, dear sister, that even when we can't see it, God is working things out for our good Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep serving. God has not forgotten you. Your breakthrough may be just around the corner.
Please also consider if there are any areas of your life that are not right with God or areas where you have not been obedient that may be hindering God from granting your requests. Sin can block our prayers. Proverbs 28:9: "He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is abomination." We ask that you would pray for God to reveal anything that may be hindering Him answering your prayers. We are assured of this in Psalm 66:18 "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn't listen."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts Isaiah 55:8 WEB: "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh." It may be that God has a different plan for your life than the one you've been praying for. Keep open to His leading and His will. Whatever happens, remember that God loves you and wants the best for you.
