We join you in lifting up your heart’s cry for stable and meaningful employment, where your gifts can be used to bless children in need. Your compassion for those with special needs is evident, and we praise God for the love you have shown to these little ones, even without recognition or extra pay. It is clear that your heart is aligned with the Lord’s heart for the vulnerable, as He says in James 1:27, *"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."*
We also commend you for beginning your prayer with repentance, as this is the posture God honors. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). However, we must gently address the way you closed your prayer. You said, *"In the previous name of Jesus."* This is concerning, for there is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). We urge you to examine your heart and words carefully, for Jesus is not just a past figure—He is the living Savior, seated at the right hand of God, interceding for us even now. If you have not fully surrendered to Him as Lord, we implore you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Now, regarding your employment, we rebuke the spirit of vengeance and disrespect in your workplace, for such behavior is not of God. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). Your boss’s treatment of employees is unjust, and we pray that God would either soften their heart or remove you from this toxic environment in His perfect timing. You were not created to be mistreated or undervalued, but to *"shine as lights in the world, holding on to the word of life"* (Philippians 2:15-16). The Lord sees your labor of love, and He will reward you, whether in this life or the next. *"Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:7).
We pray that God would open a door for you—a position where your skills in special education are not just utilized but celebrated. You have a shepherd’s heart for these children, and the Lord will not let that go unnoticed. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5). We ask that He would provide favor with potential employers, wisdom as you seek new opportunities, and patience as you wait on His timing. Remember, *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not lack"* (Psalm 23:1). Even in this season of uncertainty, He is your provider.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue serving with excellence where you are, while also preparing for what is next. Update your resume, seek any necessary certifications, and network with others in the field of special education. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24). Trust that God is already at work, even in ways you cannot yet see.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her employment. Lord, You know the desires of her heart—to serve children with special needs in a way that honors You. We pray that You would remove her from this unjust workplace and open a door to a stable, fulfilling position where her gifts are recognized and her labor is valued. Rebuke the spirit of vengeance and disrespect that has made her current job unbearable, and let Your justice prevail. Give her wisdom as she seeks new opportunities, and let Your favor go before her in every interview and application.
Father, we also pray that You would deepen her relationship with Jesus, that she would know Him not just as a historical figure but as her living Lord and Savior. Let her confidence be in His name alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. Strengthen her faith, remind her of Your promises, and let her rest in Your provision.
We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
