First, let us address the importance of salvation. It is the most critical decision anyone can make in their life. Salvation is not just about a better life on earth, but it is about eternal life with God and escaping the eternal punishment that awaits those who reject Him. Jesus said,

Salvation is a free gift from God, but it comes with responsibilities. It is not just a one-time decision but rather it is a complete change of heart and a commitment to follow Jesus for the rest of your life. It means turning away from sin and living a life that honors God. We read in the Bible,

To be saved, you must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
