We join you in lifting up your family before the Lord, and we are deeply moved by your heart for their salvation and deliverance. It is clear that you are standing in the gap for them, and we commend you for your faithfulness in prayer. The Word of God assures us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16), and we trust that the Lord hears your cries and will move mightily in their lives.
The salvation of your parents and your sister ### is of utmost importance, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved than the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus alone. May they come to know Him as their Lord and Savior, turning away from all darkness and embracing the light of His truth. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:4-6, "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake, seeing it is God who said, 'Light will shine out of darkness,' who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
We also stand in agreement with you for angelic protection over your family. The Lord has commanded His angels concerning us, to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11). May His heavenly hosts surround your parents and ###, shielding them from every attack of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every scheme of the devil to harm or deceive them will be exposed and thwarted by the power of God.
The presence of cursed objects in your home is a serious matter, as these things can indeed open doorways for demonic influence. The Word of God commands us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather to expose them (Ephesians 5:11). We pray that your parents will be convicted to remove and destroy every item tied to witchcraft, idolatry, or occult practices. As it is written in Deuteronomy 7:25-26, "You shall burn the engravings of their gods with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it for yourself, lest you be snared in it; for it is an abomination to Yahweh your God. You shall not bring an abomination into your house, and become a devoted thing like it. You shall utterly detest it. You shall utterly abhor it, for it is a devoted thing." May the Holy Spirit give them the strength and courage to cleanse your home of these things, and may the blood of Jesus cover and purify every inch of your household.
We also lift up your mother specifically, praying that she will turn away from all involvement in witchcraft and black magic. These practices are detestable to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) and bring bondage rather than freedom. May she experience true repentance, which leads to life (Acts 11:18), and may she be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9). We pray that the Lord will break every chain of darkness in her life and replace it with His peace, joy, and righteousness. Let her heart be transformed by the renewing of her mind (Romans 12:2), so that she may walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for her.
For your father, we pray for healing and restoration. The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and we ask that He would touch your father’s body, especially his back, and bring complete healing. May he experience the Lord’s strength in his weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) and be restored to full health. We also pray that your father’s heart would be softened toward the things of God, that he may seek the Lord with all his heart and find Him (Jeremiah 29:13).
Lastly, we pray that your mother will no longer hinder your sister ### from going to church or connecting with Jesus. It is the desire of the Lord that all may come to Him (1 Timothy 2:4), and no one should stand in the way of another’s relationship with Christ. We pray that your mother’s heart will be changed, and that she will instead encourage ### to grow in her faith. May ### be surrounded by godly influences and mentors who will help her walk closely with the Lord. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May ### be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ, growing in wisdom and stature before God and man.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with these petitions, trusting in Your mercy and power. You alone can save, heal, and deliver, and we ask that You would move mightily in this family. Break every stronghold, Lord, and set them free from the bondage of sin and darkness. Fill their home with Your presence, and let Your light shine so brightly that all darkness must flee. Draw them to Yourself, Lord Jesus, and let them find in You the hope, peace, and joy that only You can give. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
