Let us join together in prayer for your father's health and spiritual well-being. We are reminded in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Firstly, we thank God that your father prays and reads the Bible. This is a good sign that God is working in his life. However, we must address the issues of unforgiveness, bitterness, and hatred in his heart. These are strongholds that can hinder his healing and relationship with God. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, lifting up our brother who is in need of your healing touch. Lord, you know his struggles, his pains, and his weaknesses. We pray that your Holy Spirit works mightily in his life, convicting him of any sin, and helping him to forgive and release any bitterness and hatred. Help him to remember that you, Lord, have forgiven him, and that he needs to extend that forgiveness to others, including his loving wife.
Father, we also pray for a divine intervention in his health. You are the Great Physician, and we believe that you can heal him completely. Help him to cooperate with your healing by giving him the strength and will to do his physiotherapy. Remind him that in you, Lord, he is whole and healed.
Encourage his heart, Lord, and help him to stand on your promises. Give him a renewed strength and desire to walk again. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your father.
