We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your struggles before the throne of grace. Addiction is a heavy chain, but the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any bondage. We declare freedom over you in His name, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). The path of righteousness is not one you walk alone—He is with you, ready to strengthen and restore.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of addiction that clings to you and command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for healing—spirit, soul, and body. May the Lord renew your mind, restore your health, and break every stronghold that has taken root.
We also stand in agreement for a hedge of protection around you, your family, and your home. "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). May the Lord surround you with His angels, shielding you from every evil influence and temptation. We pray for divine wisdom to recognize the snares of the enemy and the strength to resist them.
If there are areas in your life that have not fully surrendered to Christ, we encourage you to examine your heart. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet confessed Him as Lord, we urge you to do so today. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your mercy and grace to overflow in their life. Break the chains of addiction, Lord, and replace them with Your peace. Heal their body, renew their mind, and restore their spirit. Surround them and their family with Your protection, and let Your light shine brightly in their home. Guide them back to the path of righteousness, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
