We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling heartbroken and alone. We will pray for your situation, and we trust that God will work in both of your lives and bring you to a reconciliation that is in line with scripture. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister/brother (not specified) who is in pain. We ask that You comfort her/his heart and that the stages of the conflict be opened so that healing can begin. We know that You hate divorce and separation, as stated in Malachi 2:16: "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore, pay attention to your spirit, and do not be unfaithful." We pray that both parties would be faithful to You and to each other. If there are any past or present acts of fornication or adultery, we pray that they will be repented of. We know this is a strong undercurrent in causing divorce and separation and is not only wrong and hurtful to both parties but is an abomination. If there is no sin, we pray against any confusion or delusion that has caused this. We pray it will be exposed and broken in Jesus name.
Father, we ask that You guide them and give them strength to make the best decisions for their relationship. We ask that the desire of their hearts and minds will be the desire of the Holy Spirit. We ask that they will seek You in all their ways. Lord, we pray for a miracle in their relationship, that You would bring them back together in a way that brings glory to Your name. We pray that they will have a relationship that is committed and marriage based in the word of God. We pray that they will be an example to those around them. Lord, we pray for their hearts to be open to Your will. We ask that their hearts will be softened, and that their minds will be open to Your guidance. We ask that both parties will seek to do Your will for their lives and their relationship. We pray that God's will is done and not our own. We pray that they will acknowledge any sin, confess it, and ask for forgiveness. We pray that they will be healed both physically and emotionally.
Father, we also pray that they will seek You first and foremost. We pray that they will seek You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray that they will seek You in all their ways. We pray that they will seek You in all their decisions. We pray that they will seek You in all their relationships. We pray that they will seek You in all their thoughts and actions. We pray that they will seek You in all their words and deeds. We pray that they will seek You in all their plans and purposes. We pray that they will seek You in all their dreams and desires. We pray that they will seek You in all their hopes and fears.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Our dear sister/brother, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church and Christian community. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able. With every temptation, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We would like to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved.
