We join with you in lifting up your precious baby before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, let us address the importance of invoking the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
So we rejoice that you have included this in your request for your daughter.
In preparing your baby for the vaccination, remember that God cares for even the smallest details of our lives. As it says in Matthew 10:29-31 WEB:
Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
We pray that God's divine protection will cover your baby tomorrow. We stand in faith, believing that God's hedge of protection will surround her and that she will be safe from any adverse reactions. We claim Psalm 91 WEB over her:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.
We also pray for your peace of mind, that God will grant you a spirit of calm and trust in His goodness. Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Regarding the mention of angels, we must clarify that while angels are indeed ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14 WEB), our primary focus and faith should be in God Himself, not in His angels. We should not be praying to angels or seeking their protection apart from God's will.
So let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this precious baby. We thank You for her life and the blessing she is to her parents. Lord, as she goes for her vaccination tomorrow, we ask for Your divine protection. Cover her with Your feathers, let Your faithfulness be her shield and rampart. Prevent any adverse reactions, and let her be safe and healthy. Grant her parents a spirit of calm and trust in Your goodness. Surround their going out and their coming in, from this time forth, and for evermore (Psalm 121:8 WEB). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, always remember that your faith should not be in the vaccines or the medical system, but in God alone. Trust that He is in control and that He loves your baby even more than you do. Be wise and make informed decisions about her health, always seeking God's guidance. If you have any concerns about the vaccination, do not hesitate to consult with medical professionals and seek God's will in the matter.
