Pray for our dear sister, HOPE

I feel led to lift up our dear sister, Hope, in prayer this day. This is a pivotal week in her life, with Kevin receiving her letter and his response to it. I ask that you would join me in praying fervently for God's hand in the restoration of this marriage, this family, this home.

Acts 16:31

They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."

Father, I come before Your mighty throne this day in support of our dear sister Hope. Home is more than a place, Father, it is a feeling, it is a safehaven, it is a venue of hope, love and support. I pray this day that You would restore all of the things that home is unto Hope. May she and Kevin live there as man and wife, firmly grounded in Your word, honoring the sacred vows they spoke before You, their family and friends. May all of the strongholds and sin be pushed aside, and may Kevin think clearly about his place as Christian head of this home. Let Vanessa grow up with two parents who cherish one another, nurturing her in her own faith, teaching her about patience, hope, forgiveness and the power of prayer. You cause the sun to rise and set, You created this beautiful world. I pray You would create a reconciliation of unimaginable joy for this family until we can all come home to You. Amen.

Please prepare the heart of both Kevin and Hope for a loving marital reconciliation designed by You. Let the letter that Hope sent Kevin touch his heart and soul down to the very core. May the letter be the catalyst that sets in motion Hope's return to her home. May the veil over Kevin's heart and the scales over his eyes be removed in an instant, allowing him to realize the diamond that he has devalued.

Lord, draw Kevin to Your Holy throne for repentance and forgiveness. Give him a fresh start, putting aside sin, adultery, bitterness, hatefulness and all other ungodly behavior. Wash him in your Spirit, cleanse him in Your blood.

Almighty God, please give Hope Elisha's portion of Your Spirit in the coming days and weeks. Bless her and keep her in Your will. Give her the words to say to Kevin. Guide her in all her interactions with him. Bless their communication with Your anointing oil of love and reconciliation.

Father, I come to Your mercy seat, pleading for my sister. Bless her this day, God, with Your mighty presence.

Give her wisdom for any response she needs to make to Kevin so that she would say the right words. Give her courage to continue the path you have laid before her feet. Give her strength to face each new day. Above all, Lord, Fill her heart, mind and spirit with your unconditional love.
