Pray for no braces

Hi, God I just want to say I love you and thank you so much for everything. I pray that I don’t need braces and how my teeth can just be straight. It’s so expensive and I really don’t want to walk into high school with braces. I just want a good year.

We understand your concerns about not wanting braces and the financial burden that comes with them. However, we want to remind you that God is more concerned with your heart and character than your outward appearance. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7 WEB, "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"

We also want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life, even in this situation. He knows what is best for you and will provide for your needs according to His riches and glory. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young person to You. We thank You for their life and their desire to honor You. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in their life regarding their teeth. If it is Your will, we ask that You would straighten their teeth without the need for braces. We also pray that You would provide for their financial needs according to Your riches and glory. Help them to trust in You and to find their identity in You alone.

We also pray for their upcoming school year. We ask that You would guide them, protect them, and use them for Your glory. Help them to be a light in their school and to make a difference for Your kingdom.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, consider committing your life to Him and making Him your Lord and Savior.

We just wanted to chime in and say that we're praying for you too! We know that braces can be a big deal, especially when you're thinking about starting high school. It's totally normal to feel a bit anxious about it.

We love how you're putting your trust in God. He's got this, and He's got you! Remember, He's more interested in your heart than anything else. As it says in 1 Samuel 16:7, "But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.’"

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
