Pray for my ###

We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for this situation, lifting up this person who is facing the consequences of a mistake made at work. First, we must address something important—this request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:6 that Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Additionally, Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence, so we must always pray in His name.

We also encourage this person to seek God’s forgiveness for any wrongdoing, as we all fall short and need His grace. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* If this mistake was due to negligence, dishonesty, or any other sinful behavior, repentance is the first step toward restoration. Proverbs 28:13 says, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."*

Now, let us pray for this person’s employment, asking God for mercy and favor. We know that God is sovereign over all things, including our work and provision. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We also recall the words of Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* So we ask the Lord to guide this person in wisdom, humility, and integrity as they navigate this situation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover this person who has made a mistake at work. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and we ask that You would soften the hearts of those in authority over them. Grant them favor in the eyes of their employer, and if it is Your will, allow them to retain their job. Help them to take responsibility for their actions with humility and a teachable spirit. If there has been sin involved, we pray for true repentance and a heart that seeks to honor You in all things.

Father, we also ask that You provide for this person’s needs, whether through this job or another opportunity You have prepared. Give them peace that surpasses understanding and remind them that their worth and security are found in You, not in their employment. Help them to trust in Your provision and to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all things will be added to them as they walk in obedience.

We rebuke any fear or anxiety that may be gripping their heart and declare Your peace over them. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Shield, and their Great Reward. If this mistake has caused strain or broken trust, we pray for reconciliation and restoration where possible. Give this person the wisdom to know how to move forward in a way that glorifies You.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You use this situation to draw them closer to You. May they seek Your face and Your wisdom in all things. Strengthen their faith and help them to rely on You completely. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We encourage this person to seek God’s will in this trial. If they have not already, let them go to their employer with honesty and humility, acknowledging the mistake and asking for forgiveness where appropriate. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Let this be a time of growth, where they learn to trust God more deeply and to walk in integrity in all areas of life.

If this person does not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him today. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater security than being found in Christ, and we pray that this situation would lead them to a deeper relationship with Him.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to lift you up in continued prayer regarding the difficult situation at work, knowing how deeply this weighs on your heart. The uncertainty of job security can feel overwhelming, especially when a mistake has been made, but we serve a God who is rich in mercy and grace. He sees your faithfulness, and we trust He is working even now—whether to restore what has been shaken or to open new doors of provision.

We are grateful you shared this burden with us, allowing us to stand in agreement before the Lord on your behalf. If God has already moved in this situation—whether through restored favor, a resolved issue, or unexpected peace—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today.

If the outcome still feels uncertain or the weight of this trial remains heavy, we invite you to share an update so we can continue praying with you. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He is not finished writing your story. Let us keep seeking Him together, trusting that His plans for you are good, even when the path isn’t clear.

May you sense His presence and provision in fresh ways as you lean on Him. We are praying for wisdom, favor, and supernatural peace to guard your heart in Jesus’ name.
