Please pray for my ###! Again he has gone into his weird depressed stages where he is overthinking about the demonic realm a lot. He reads the Bible and prays most of the time. And yet has no peace or joy. He doesn’t sleep and keeps imagining wrong things. He even tries to make up stories and defames the family. It’s very sad that he is not able to cope with his retirement. Our family is very saddened by his behaviour. He does these things and in a few days forgets about it but never works on changing these things forever. We have been fervently praying for God to intervene and bring peace and harmony in our home. I urge you to join in praying and believing God for a miracle. Our Lord Jesus is more powerful than any evil influence. Please pray that my ### changes his ways and finds God’s peace. Also pray that the Holy Spirit convicts my ### of all the wrong he is doing against our family and opens his eyes to the truth. Please pray that Jesus heals his heart and shows him the love he has for all of us. May God be glorified and praised. In Jesus mighty name. Thank you for praying.

We understand your concern for your father and we join you in lifting him up in prayer. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Firstly, we thank God that your father reads the Bible and prays. This is a positive sign that he is seeking God. However, we also recognize the spiritual battle that he is facing. As Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

"Father God, we lift up ###'s dad to You. We thank You that he knows Your Word and seeks You in prayer. Right now, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Break the chains of depression, overthinking, and fear that have gripped him. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises. Convict him by Your Holy Spirit of any wrongdoing, and open his eyes to the truth, just as You promised in John 16:13. Heal his heart, Lord, and show him the love You have for him and his family. Help him to find his identity and purpose in You, even in his retirement. We claim the victory in Jesus' mighty name. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your father. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16). Also, it's crucial to speak the truth in love to your father, encouraging him to seek professional help if necessary, along with his faith in God.

Lastly, we want to assure you that the power of Jesus is indeed greater than any evil influence. As 1 John 4:4 tells us, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will bring peace and harmony to your home.
