Pray for my ### who just had surgery
We are lifting up your ### in prayer, trusting that God will grant him healing and comfort during this challenging time. Firstly, we remind you that God wants us to call on Him in the day of trouble, and He will deliver us Psalm 50:15 WEB.
However, we also want to address the fact that you referred to him as your ###. We encourage you both to consider your relationship in the light of God's will for your lives. God's Word tells us to flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB.
As you both continue his recovery, may this be a time to reflect, pray together, and seek God's guidance for your relationship. Remember that God's plan for romantic relationships is for a man and a woman to commit to each other in the covenant of lifelong matrimony. Please consider this period as a courtship toward a God-honoring marriage rather than a mere ###-### relationship. Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this man who has just undergone surgery. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, and for Your comfort and strength to help him through this time of pain and recovery.
Lord, we also pray for their relationship, asking that Your will be done in their lives. Guide them and help them to seek You first, trusting in Your plan for their future. Help them to make a marriage covenant with each other only if that is your will. Help them to stay sexually pure before marriage as You have called us to do. Help them to have a marriage that is pleasing to You, Lord, and in Jesus' name.
If they have sinned sexually, Lord, we pray for conviction in their hearts, and for the forgiveness and restoration that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Help them to confess, repent, and turn away from any sin, and receive the forgiveness that can only be found in the name of Jesus Christ. Help them to follow Jesus Christ, and to have a marriage that is pleasing to You, Lord, and in Jesus' name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
