We understand that you are facing a challenge with your former employer and seeking compensation for unlawful dismissal. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work and struggles. It's important to approach this situation with a heart of forgiveness and fairness, trusting that God will vindicate you.
Let's remember what the Apostle Paul said to the Colossians who were being unjustly treated.
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)
We must also remember that any deeds done in darkness will be brought to light. God desires for us to walk in integrity and to seek justice in fairness.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. (Ephesians 5:11 WEB)
We are called to pray for our enemies and do good to those that would persecute us.
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you (Matthew 5:44 WEB)
Let's pray together for this situation:
"Father, we come before You today to lift up this dear one who is facing an unlawful dismissal case. We pray for Your divine intervention and guidance through this challenging time. We ask that you have mercy on the employer and guide the courts so that they will resolve the situation fairly and justly. May the truth be revealed, and may this dear one receive the compensation deserved if that is according to Your will. Help them to trust in You and to forgive those who have wronged them.
We also pray that if this person has been wrongfully accused and dismissed that the employer would be convicted of their wrongdoing and seek to make it right.
We look to You as our Rock, our Fortress, and our Deliverer. We also pray this in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to you.
We also call out to them for the sake of their soul. We pray that they have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus. There is no other name by which anyone can be saved.
And it is in the name above all names, Jesus Christ, that we pray. Amen."
In this challenging time, continue to put your trust in the Lord.
