We understand that you are going through a time of healing and struggle with vocal issues and ungodly speech. First, let us address your concern about saying something disrespectful about God to your friend. It is important to recognize that taking the Lord's name in vain is a serious matter. As it says in Exodus 20:7, "You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain." It is good that you feel remorse and have repented of this sin. God is merciful and forgiving, as stated in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
However, it is concerning that you are worried about going to hell. It is important to understand that it is not individual sins that send us to hell, but our sinful nature and the fact that we have all fallen short of God's glory Romans 3:23. The good news is that God loves us so much that He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. If you have not already, consider surrendering your life to Jesus Christ and making Him your Lord and Savior. It is only through belief in Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12.
Regarding healing, we believe in the power of prayer and the promise that God can heal all our diseases. Psalm 103:3. Let us pray for your healing from vocal strain and hoarseness, and also for strength to overcome the habit of using profane language.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You restore their voice and heal them from vocal strain and hoarseness. We also pray that You would help them to overcome the habit of using profane language. Lord, we know that You are faithful and just to forgive our sins when we confess them to You. We ask that You would forgive our brother/sister for taking Your name in vain and that You would help them to honor and respect Your holy name.
We also pray for their salvation and spiritual well being. We pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and that they would not have a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Moving forward, make a conscious effort to replace profane language with words that honor God and build others up. As it says in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
Remember, God loves you and He is always ready to forgive and restore you when you come to Him with a repentant heart. Keep seeking Him and trusting in His goodness.
