We come before the Lord with hearts full of trust in His provision, knowing that He is the one who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It is good that you seek prayer for your team and your work, for Scripture reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Your labor is not in vain when it is done with integrity and for His glory.
Yet we must also remember that our ultimate security is not in our jobs, our performance, or even our targets—it is in Christ alone. While we pray for your team’s success in meeting these goals, we encourage you to trust in God’s sovereignty over your work and future. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This does not guarantee worldly success, but it assures us that when we seek first His kingdom and righteousness, He will provide what we need (Matthew 6:33).
We also gently remind you that in all things, including our work, we must seek to honor God rather than place our hope in earthly security. If challenges come, let them draw you closer to Him rather than cause fear. The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is a promise we can stand on, whether in abundance or in need.
Now, let us pray together for you and your team:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this team before You, asking for Your favor and wisdom as they work toward their goals. Lord, You know the pressures they face, the targets they must meet, and the concerns they carry. We ask that You grant them clarity, diligence, and creativity in their work so that they may fulfill their responsibilities with excellence. Yet even more, we pray that their hearts would remain fixed on You, trusting in Your provision rather than fearing the outcome.
If it is Your will, Lord, let their efforts be fruitful so that their positions are secured. But above all, let them find their security in You alone. Guard their hearts from anxiety and remind them that their worth is not in their performance but in their identity as Your children. May this season of work be an opportunity for them to glorify You in all they do.
We also pray that if any among them do not yet know You, Lord, that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them see that true peace and provision come only through faith in Jesus Christ, who gave His life so that we might have life abundantly.
