Pray for my son...

We are saddened to hear about your son's health condition, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can heal your son and turn this situation around for good.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12 WEB. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So let us pray together in Jesus's name.
Let us first address any sin that may need to be addressed so that there are no hindrances to this prayer. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 WEB. We all must come before the throne of God Almighty and confess our sins. This includes all family members. So pray each day for forgiveness of sin. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ, we encourage you to learn about Him in the Bible. Ask in His name for salvation. Ask to be forgiven of your sins. Ask to receive the Holy Spirit. Ask that you will be guided into all righteousness and truth. Ask for a heart and mind for Him.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and sickness that is attacking your son's body. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and never return. We pray for your son's stomach to be fully restored to perfect health, and we ask God to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20 WEB.
We also pray for the doctors and nurses attending to your son. We ask God to give them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding beyond their natural abilities. May they be a channel of God's healing power for your son.
Remember, God is faithful and true to His promises. He said in Psalm 107:20 WEB, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves." We claim this promise for your son, trusting that God will heal him and restore him to perfect health.
Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and trust in God. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray for your son.We have been continually lifting him up, asking God to soothe his stomach and restore his health completely. We are glad that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for his healing.
If your son has recovered, we would love to hear about it. Please share a praise report so we can all rejoice together in God's goodness. If he is still experiencing nausea or is still in the hospital, please provide us with an update. We want to continue praying for his complete recovery and for God's blessing to be evident in his life. What lovely prayers & comments. You guys are the best. So encouraging.
Sorry to have not updated, it's been quite busy & exhausting being in the hospital.
My son is still struggling to gain weight, frankly lost some weight in the hospital because they fumbled a few things. But, he gained just enough to be released yesterday afternoon- with the feeding tube still in. The goal marker to remove it changed several times which was quite distressing for him as one can imagine. The way the medical team went about everything was discouraging/shocking, so far as thoughtfulness & discussing expectations. Nevertheless he made gradual improvements. He slept better, did better with the feed last night (refer to ###'s posts here for the story)- at home he's more comfortable, less stressed. Still he has a ways to go to gain weight, they expect him to gain about ###lbs & eat a full days calories in 24hrs WITH the tube in to take it out. Or some mixture of the two. It's hard to describe what anxiety & sometimes trapped feelings this all caused. BUT...he's getting nutrients his body's needed for a long time. He's struggled to eat like normal due to chronic nausea from a syndrome called: non-surgical rapid gastric emptying. So...his stomach is acclimating to a new norm. With the hopes he'll gain weight & be able to hold a proper amount of food each day without too much distress.
Please pray this process doesn't drag out, that he gains that ### healthy much needed lbs in the next wk or 2. That the dump syndrome, which I believe to be healed, is GONE at the end of this. Just poof, gone, HEALED. So he can live a normal childhood stronger & better than ever! We will be back with updates and to glorify the good Lord for taking us all through this journey together, a gradual healing, and an even stronger faith for all of us, but especially my son. Who's learned to lean entirely on Jesus. It's been tough for a kid to be that desperate, downtrodden, but to his credit he put it all in God's hands. More so than the adults he was doing exactly the right things in God's eyes, and didn't even complain. He's been scared & anxious & crushed, but at the same time my son's grown so much in faith and proven what a strong & courageous person he really is. At one point they offered him anxiety meds, he said, "I don't want anxiety medicine, prayer works much better than that." Can you imagine what that did for my heart! He's grown into quite the young man! I'm so proud.
