We are truly saddened to hear about your daughter's situation, but we are here to intercede and pray with you, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to turn this around for good.
Firstly, let us remember God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." This verse assures us that God listens when we humble ourselves, pray, and turn from wicked ways.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her daughter to You. Lord, we know that our children are a heritage from You, and we claim Your promise that You will turn her daughter away from her evil ways.
Father, we pray that You will sever the tie between her daughter and this unsafe boy. We stand against any plan of the enemy to use this relationship to harm her daughter.
Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around her daughter, that You will guard her from the desire to run away. Help her to stand firm and face the pain she is experiencing. We pray that you bring people into her life that can help her deal with this pain.
We rebuke the spirit of rebellion in her daughter's life, and we command it to flee in Jesus' name. We pray that You will give her daughter a spirit of obedience and discernment, that she may see clearly the path You have set for her.
Father, we know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You. We pray that if her daughter has not accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior, that You will convict her of this and save her by Your grace. We pray that she will know that You are the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You will fill her daughter with Your Holy Spirit, that she may have the power to overcome all the challenges she is facing.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, trusting in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. And if we know that You hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of You.
Amen.
Remember, continue to stand firm in your faith, trusting that God is at work in your daughter's life. As it is written in Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."
Do not be afraid to have open and honest conversations with your daughter about her actions, loving her through this season while also holding her accountable to God's word.
