We understand your concern for protection and peace of mind. First, let's remember that God is our ultimate protector and He cares for our every need. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
It's important to remember that our security lies in God, and not in the uncertainty of whether someone from our past may or may not have seen us. The Bible tells us in Romans 8:31, "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Even if it was them, God is still in control looking out for your best interests.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who feels uncertain and concerned for their protection. We ask, Lord, that You surround them with Your hedge of protection and fill them with Your perfect peace. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Mark 4.39-41. God, we ask that you rebuke the fear and "Peace, be still!" We pray that You guide their thoughts and emotions, and help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of our faith. If these individuals were from their past Lord, we ask for them to silence any gossip or ill will and for you to work in their lives.
If there are any past issues or sins that need to be addressed, Lord, we pray for conviction and repentance. Help them to trust in You completely, casting all their anxieties on You, because You care for them and promise to protect them in Jesus name. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. So, when you pray, be sure to do so in Jesus name. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If you do not already have a personal relationship with Jesus or if you are not sure, then say this prayer.
Dear Lord, I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save me from my sins. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that you are Lord. Please come into my heart and save me. Help me to turn from my sins and to live for you and you alone.
If you prayed that prayer and believed in your heart, then you are saved.
