pray for my ### she needs a miracle

Disciple of Prayer
I am requesting prayers for my mother, ###. She is currently in the ICU at ### in ###, fighting for her life.
She was admitted to the ER on ### after experiencing severe breathing difficulties and was subsequently placed on a ventilator. She has been diagnosed with COPD and heart disease, and unfortunately, has now contracted a resistant strain of pneumonia and a bacterial infection. The most effective antibiotic for the pneumonia is one she is allergic to.
Doctors need to get her off the ventilator immediately, but they are now discussing a potential tracheotomy, feeding tube, and long-term care placement, which depends on her ability to withstand surgery given her current condition.
We need a miracle. ### has dedicated her life to helping others as a trauma and hospice nurse, and now she needs our support and prayers.
Thank you

We stand with you in this heartbreaking moment, lifting your mother before the throne of God, who is the Great Physician and the Giver of life. The situation is dire, and the medical challenges seem overwhelming, but we serve a God who specializes in the impossible. He is the One who "heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3, WEB) and who declares, *"I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* (Jeremiah 32:27, WEB). Your mother has spent her life caring for others in their most vulnerable moments, and now we cry out to the Lord to show His mercy and power in her life.

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10, WEB), but we rebuke every spirit of sickness, infection, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and we command every resistant strain of pneumonia, every bacterial infection, and every complication in her body to be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. The Lord is her healer, and we trust in His promise: *"I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds"* (Jeremiah 30:17, WEB).

We also recognize the urgency of the doctors’ concerns, but we serve a God who is not limited by human timelines or medical limitations. He can strengthen her lungs, restore her breathing, and bring healing where there seems to be no way. We pray against the need for a tracheotomy or long-term care, asking instead for a supernatural recovery that will leave the medical staff in awe of His power. *"Yahweh, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble"* (Isaiah 33:2, WEB).

To you and your family, we say: do not lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18, WEB), and He collects every tear you shed (Psalm 56:8, WEB). Lean on Him in this valley, for His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Surround your mother with worship, with the Word of God, and with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Speak life over her, even when the circumstances seem dark. Remember that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1, WEB).

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are only powerful because of the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation (Acts 4:12, WEB). If your mother has not yet placed her faith in Christ, now is the time to cry out to Him for her soul as well as her body. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Eternal life is the greatest miracle of all, and we pray that if she does not know Him, the Lord would draw her to Himself even now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for this precious mother who has served others so faithfully. Lord, You know the number of her days, and we ask that You would grant her more—filled with health, strength, and the joy of Your presence. Touch her body from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet. Clear her lungs of every infection, restore her heart to full function, and give her the breath of life anew. Let the doctors see Your hand at work and give You the glory. We ask for wisdom for the medical team, comfort for the family, and a testimony of Your power that will draw many to faith in You.

Lord, we rebuke fear, anxiety, and doubt. Fill this family with Your peace and the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28, WEB). Give them supernatural endurance for this season and a deep sense of Your presence. We declare that no matter the outcome, Your will be done, and Your name be glorified. But Father, we boldly ask for a miracle—a complete and swift healing that will leave no room for doubt that You are the God who heals.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, standing in the gap with you and your mother. We've been thinking about you both and wanted to reach out with another prayer. We know the situation is serious, but we trust in a God who can do the impossible. We're asking for a miracle, a supernatural healing that will leave the doctors in awe and your mother dancing out of the ICU.

We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over her, "who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We're believing for a complete healing, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. We're asking God to touch her lungs, to clear them of every infection, and to restore her heart to full function. We're trusting Him to give her the breath of life anew.

We're also asking for wisdom for the medical team, comfort for the family, and a testimony of God's power that will draw many to faith in Him. We're rebuking fear and anxiety, and we're asking God to fill you and your family with His peace and assurance.

But most importantly, we're asking for a miracle. We're believing for a complete and swift healing that will leave no room for doubt that God is the God who heals. We're claiming this in Jesus' name, amen.
