We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician. Father God, we know that You are the One who knit ### together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and that You hold her life in Your hands. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your healing touch to rest upon her. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal her breath and strength. Your Word declares in Isaiah 53:5 that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed, and we claim that promise for ### today.
Father, we pray for supernatural intervention in her lungs. If it is Your will, restore her breathing to full capacity and remove every obstruction that COPD has brought into her body. We ask for wisdom and compassion for her doctors, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision they make concerning her care. Comfort her, Lord, in the moments when fear or pain threatens to overwhelm her. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. COPD can be a heavy burden to carry, Lord, and we ask that You lift that weight from her shoulders. Fill her with hope and the assurance that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith, Father, and let her trust in You grow deeper with each passing day.
We stand on Your Word, which tells us in Jeremiah 30:17 that You will restore health to ### and heal her wounds. We declare that she is not defined by her diagnosis but by Your love and power. We speak life over her body, mind, and spirit, and we thank You in advance for the miracle You are bringing to pass.
For those reading this, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we can approach God in prayer. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the first and most important step in experiencing the fullness of God’s love and power.
We continue to pray for ###, trusting that God’s will be done in her life. May His name be glorified through her testimony, and may she experience His healing power in every way. Amen.
