We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your husband has faced due to his military service and the lasting impacts on his health. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for his healing and support.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the midst of trials, God can bring about good.
We also want to encourage you both to continue trusting in God, as He is the source of our strength and refuge. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother in need. Lord, You know the struggles he has faced due to his military service, the trauma he endured, and the health issues that have resulted.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon him. Heal his body, Lord, from the neuropathy and hearing impairment. Heal his mind and spirit from the Major Depressive Syndrome. We know that You are able, Lord, and we trust in Your power and goodness.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance as they navigate the disability benefits process. Lord, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those making the decisions, and that Your will would be done. If it is Your will, Father, we pray that he would receive the 100% disability benefits.
In the meantime, Father, we pray for Your provision and peace. Help them to trust in You, Lord, and to rest in Your love. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and draw them closer to each other and to You.
We pray all these things in Jesus Christ name we pray.
We encourage you both to continue praying and seeking God's will together. Remember the words of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the midst of trials. Joshua 1:9 tells us, "Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."
We will continue to pray for you both, and we trust that God will hear and answer our prayers according to His will.
