We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these urgent needs in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician and the Provider of all our needs. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that You will move on behalf of this dear one who is trusting in You for deliverance and healing.
Lord, we pray specifically for the delivery of the heating fuel by next week. We know that You are not bound by time or circumstance, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Open the doors that need to be opened, soften the hearts of those responsible for the delivery, and remove any obstacles that may be in the way. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard this heart while they wait, knowing that You are in control.
We also lift up this precious one’s health before You. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon their body. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their life. Lord, we pray for improved breathing—let every breath be a reminder of Your life-giving Spirit. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be affecting their lungs or respiratory system, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We also pray for their blood pressure to stabilize, that it would return to a healthy level as a testimony of Your faithfulness. Your Word says in Proverbs 4:20-22, "My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body."
We also want to encourage this one to seek You daily for strength and wisdom. In James 5:14-15, we are instructed, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We encourage them to surround themselves with godly believers who can pray and stand in agreement for their healing. We also remind them to examine their heart and life, confessing any sin that may be hindering their prayers, for Psalm 66:18 says, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."
Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace on behalf of this one. We trust that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work in this situation. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your peace and presence in a tangible way. We declare that healing is coming, provision is on the way, and Your glory will be revealed through this trial. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
