We are lifting you up together before our heavenly Father in Jesus name and we have heard your burden about your head, your headache, your scalp and the swelling that makes it hard to think. We pray for your healing and we also encourage you to seek wise medical care, for the Lord often works through physicians. We claim his promise Praise Yahweh, my soul, and dont forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for clear thought and peace of mind, for God didnt give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and we remember In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

You shared that it feels impossible to get married and get a job and that your heart screams for a godly wife and for children. We gently rebuke the word impossible, for with God nothing is impossible. For nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37 and With God all things are possible Matthew 19:26. We rejoice that your desire is for a godly wife and for children within marriage, for this is honorable in the sight of God. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and we pray that the Lord will lead you into courtship with a fellow believer with marriage as the goal. Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We encourage you to remain pure and to flee fornication, for sex before or outside marriage is sin, and to trust God to prepare you and your future wife for a holy union. Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3 and we pray that in Gods perfect time he will bless you with a godly marriage and with children if it is his will.

We also join you in praying for a love for Israel. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper Psalm 122:6. We ask that God will put a deep biblical love for his chosen people in your heart and that you will continue to intercede for them.

We lift up the ones you named whose names were withheld for privacy and we pray for the dear one you asked the Holy Spirit to make calm. We ask the Lord to fill him with the fruit of the Spirit, for the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. We pray that the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper and Comforter, will guard his heart and give him calm and rest. We also lift up your need for work. We pray for a full time job and for good work that honors God. We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray that you know Jesus as your Savior and that every prayer you offer is in his precious and powerful name, for there is no other way to be reconciled to God.

Your petition has been heard and we take it before the throne of grace with earnestness and sympathy. To suffer in the head, to feel swelling and pain upon the scalp, and to find thought itself clouded, is a sore trial, and we pray that the Lord who appoints our days and numbers our sorrows will lay His healing hand upon you.

We entreat the Lord for your body and your mind. He who is the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. What Job endured in his flesh, being sore afflicted from head to foot, yet kept his integrity, reminds us that God is able to sustain and to restore. We pray that He would ease your headache, reduce the swelling, heal your scalp, and grant you clearness of thought and calmness of spirit, that your mind may be stayed upon Him and made sound by His grace. May He lift the cloud from your understanding and give you a renewed and sober mind to think clearly after His will.

We pray also concerning your deep desires for work and for marriage. You speak of it as impossible to obtain a job and to be married, and your heart cries out for a godly wife and for children. Know that marriage is an honorable and sacred estate, not less holy than any other calling when entered in the fear of the Lord. For those dear ones whose names you have entrusted to us, though they are hidden here, they are known to the Lord, and we lift them before Him. We have heard your request and we bring it before the Lord with you in prayer.

We pray for your head, for the swelling and pain in your scalp and for the headache that troubles you, that God in His mercy would bring healing and relief, and that He would grant you clarity and soundness of mind to think clearly. We ask Him to calm your thoughts and to strengthen you, for the head directs the whole body and when it suffers the whole person feels it, and we ask for His restoring hand upon you.

We also lift up the deep desires of your heart. The longing for marriage and for children is good when it is ordered toward what God has made holy. Marriage is honorable, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it is kept in holiness when it is lived in faithfulness, purity and love. We pray that if it is His will, He will provide for you a godly wife, a woman of piety and gentleness and fear of God, and that you would be prepared for that calling by growing in virtue, orderliness and steadfast prayer. We pray that you would be kept chaste and upright as you wait, trusting His timing rather than seeking to fulfill this desire apart from His design. And we pray that He would in that holy union, if He wills, grant you children as a blessing from His hand.

We pray for your burden for Israel, that God would give you a true and biblical love for her people, that you would pray for her peace and above all for salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

We pray for the two persons whose names you entrusted to us, that the Holy Spirit would bring calm to the one who is troubled, and that He would work in both lives to draw them to Christ, to comfort them and to lead them in truth and peace. We also remember the third name you mentioned before the Lord, asking for His care and grace upon that life as well.

And we pray for your work, that God would open the door to good, full time employment where you can labor honestly and provide, using your hands and mind with diligence and humility. We ask that He would give you opportunity to do work that is useful and that honors Him, and that He would sustain you while you wait.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and in doing what is in your hand to do with faithfulness, seeking first His kingdom and trusting Him to provide what you need. We are praying that God would answer according to His wisdom and mercy, and that you would know His nearness and help in these trials.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and I have prayed with you about these heavy burdens you are carrying.

I am praying first for your body, for this pain and swelling in your head and scalp, and for the trouble you have in thinking clearly. Jesus knows what is happening inside you even before you speak it. He knew the thoughts and reasonings in the hearts of those around Him, and He knows yours. The Scripture says He knew what was in man and did not need anyone to tell Him. He hears the unspoken groaning when your thoughts feel clouded and your head hurts, and He has the authority to forgive and to heal. It is easy for a man to say your sins are forgiven because no one can prove it, but Jesus showed His authority by also saying rise and walk so that people could see His power is real. In the same way I am asking Him to touch your body and to bring clarity to your mind, because His power is real over both soul and body.

I am also praying for the deep desires of your heart for work and for marriage. You said it feels impossible to find a full time job and to be married, and that your heart longs for a godly wife and for children. That longing for marriage is good and God given. From the beginning God showed that marriage is two becoming one, a deep unity where two lives are joined together as one flesh. The Lord describes Himself as one, yet a compound unity, and marriage reflects that mystery of oneness. This life is the time God has given for that covenant of one man and one woman for life, and for children to be raised within it. I am asking God to provide good and steady work for you and, in His timing and will, to bring a godly wife who loves Jesus and to open the way for the family you so desire. I am also praying with you for a growing love for Israel, that God would give you His heart for His people and His promises.

I know the waiting can feel desperate, like the father who watched his little daughter dying and thought the Lord was taking too long while He stopped to help someone else. That father had known twelve years of joy with his child and now faced losing her, and he was anxious for Jesus to hurry. Yet Jesus was not hurried and He did not forget that father. He hears you in the same way when you feel forgotten in the wait for a job or a wife. And when we feel weak or ashamed because we have promised God so much and then feel we have failed, we can remember Peter. He was sincere in his love for the Lord and confident he would stand, and then he fell and wept bitterly. The Lord understood him and loved him still. God knows our frame and that we often think more highly of our own strength than we should, and He is gracious when we come to Him honestly without boasting.

The foundation for all of this is the gospel, which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. I am not ashamed of that good news and I pray you will hold fast to it, that your trust remains in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness and for life. It is through Him that we have peace with God and hope for every other need.

So I pray now, Father, in the name of Jesus, touch this dear one who is in pain. Lay Your hand upon his head and scalp, reduce the swelling, take away the headache, and restore clear thought. Give him soundness of mind and peace as he rests in You. Provide for him good work, full time employment where he can labor faithfully and provide. According to Your will, lead him to a godly wife, a woman who loves You, that they may enter the covenant of marriage as one flesh and, if it pleases You, grant them children to raise for Your glory. Increase his love for Israel and for Your purposes there. I lift also to You those whose names were written but not shared here, especially the one who needs calmness, that Your Holy Spirit would quiet his heart and bring peace. Let Your power be seen in his life, for Your glory. Amen.
