We lift up your precious grandson before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and understanding. It is natural for little ones to feel fear or uncertainty when facing new experiences, and preschool can be a big step for a child. We pray that the Lord would surround him with His peace, comfort, and strength as he adjusts to this new season.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would calm the fears of this little one. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him even when things feel unfamiliar. We ask that You would give him courage and joy as he learns and grows in this new environment. May he come to see preschool as a place of love, friendship, and discovery, where Your light shines brightly.
We also pray for wisdom and patience for his parents and caregivers as they guide him through this transition. Give them the words and actions that will reassure him and help him feel secure. Let Your love be the foundation upon which he builds his trust in this new experience.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold of his heart. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that Your perfect love would fill him completely. May he grow in confidence each day, knowing that You are his strength and his shield.
We encourage you to speak life and truth over your grandson, reminding him of God’s promises. Share with him verses like Psalm 56:3, which says, "When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Let him know that God is always with him, even in new and unfamiliar places.
May the Lord bless your grandson with a spirit of boldness and joy as he steps into this new chapter. We trust that God is working in his heart, drawing him closer to Himself and preparing him for all the good things He has in store. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
