We join you in lifting up your request for good results today, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of your life. It is wonderful to see you turning to Him in prayer, and we are encouraged by your trust in His provision. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have done well to cast your worries upon Him, for He promises to sustain you.
We do want to gently address something important in your prayer. While it is good to acknowledge the Trinity—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—our prayers are to be directed to the Father *in the name of Jesus*. Jesus Himself teaches us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). So while we honor the Trinity, we pray *to the Father in Jesus’ name*, for it is Christ who intercedes for us (Romans 8:34).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You today, asking for Your peace to flood their heart as they await their test results. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the work they have put into their studies. We ask that You grant them favor and success, not just for their own sake, but so that Your name may be glorified through their life. Remove every trace of anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace, which guards their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
If these results are not what they hope for, we pray You give them strength to trust in Your sovereign plan. Remind them that their worth is not in their achievements but in being Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Help them to walk in faith, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in. Holy Spirit, fill them afresh with Your comfort and assurance. Let them feel Your arms around them today, just as they’ve asked, and let Your love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you. Whether the results are what you hope for or not, He is your strength and your portion. Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He will direct your paths. May you sense His presence with you today in a powerful way.
